Jamie Prim, a 55-year-old resident of Middlebury, Vermont, was arraigned on January 2, 2026, facing two counts of felony sexual assault of a child and one count of felony lewd or lascivious conduct with a child. The charges follow an investigation by the Middlebury Police Department.
At his arraignment in Vermont Superior Court, Addison Criminal Division, Mr. Prim pleaded not guilty to all charges. Judge David A. Barra set conditions for Mr. Prim’s release that prohibit him from contacting the alleged victim or any minors, being present in places where children gather, and consuming alcohol.
The Attorney General’s Office stated: “Individuals charged with a crime are legally presumed innocent until their guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.”
