A New Hampshire couple has pleaded guilty to federal charges related to a crime spree in August 2024. Christopher Boisvert and Meghan Cox entered their pleas in federal court last week, admitting to robbery-related offenses.
On June 10, 2025, Boisvert pleaded guilty to armed bank robbery before Chief United States District Judge Christina Reiss. Two days later, on June 12, Cox admitted to conspiring with Boisvert to interfere with commerce by robbery before the same judge.
Both defendants face potential sentences of up to 20 years if the court accepts their plea agreements. Sentencing is scheduled for September, and the final sentence will be determined by the District Court using advisory guidelines and statutory factors.
The crimes began on August 26, 2024, when Vermont State Police were alerted about an attempted robbery at Rolling Twenties Cannabis Dispensary in Rockingham, Vermont. Surveillance footage showed Boisvert and Cox approaching the business after exiting a blue Chevrolet Silverado truck with obscured license plates.
Boisvert was described as wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt and carrying dark backpacks or duffel bags. Cox wore a black hooded sweatshirt and carried a dark bag. Both wore latex gloves and masks. They demanded money and marijuana but left when denied entry.
Shortly after, Bellows Falls Police responded to a bank robbery at TD Bank where Boisvert matched the description from the earlier incident. He demanded large bills while threatening employees with what appeared to be a weapon in his waistband. He left with approximately $2,500.
An hour later, Brattleboro Savings and Loan was robbed under similar circumstances. Law enforcement linked both robberies through surveillance footage showing Boisvert’s distinctive attire and threats involving family addresses of bank employees. Approximately $5,000 was taken during this heist.
Authorities tracked the blue Silverado truck used in these incidents across state lines into Massachusetts where it was found abandoned near Athol Memorial Hospital.
Investigators identified Boisvert through social media accounts comparing photos with surveillance images that captured him wearing identical clothing during the robberies. Additionally, they noted that Cox had covered her distinctive neck tattoo during one of their attempts at disguise.
Searches of their vehicle uncovered items consistent with those used during their crimes including masks matching descriptions provided by witnesses along with DNA evidence linking them directly back again confirming involvement beyond doubt once more proving guilt beyond reasonable doubt thus leading ultimately toward conviction within court proceedings now concluded successfully against both individuals involved here today finally bringing justice served accordingly without further delay or hesitation whatsoever given circumstances surrounding case overall so far already established conclusively enough overall already done here today finally too!
