Xavier Parker, a 31-year-old resident of Staten Island, New York, has been sentenced to a total of 42 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl while on federal supervised release. The sentence was handed down by United States District Judge William K. Sessions III on June 2, 2025.
Parker received an 18-month prison term followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the charges. He admitted to working with a co-conspirator in February and March 2024 to distribute fentanyl in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Additionally, Parker was sentenced to another 24 months for violating his supervised release terms from a previous conviction.
Court records indicate that during his arrest, authorities discovered approximately 12.1 grams of cocaine base, 2.2 grams of fentanyl, 0.67 grams of heroin, and 5.6 grams of cocaine hidden on Parker’s person. This offense occurred while he was still under federal supervision following a prior conviction in the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont in 2020 for conspiracy to distribute heroin and cocaine base.
Acting United States Attorney Michael P. Drescher praised the efforts of Homeland Security Investigations and the Vermont State Police for their work on this case.
The prosecution was led by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Nicole Cate and Michelle Arra, while Chandler Matson represented Parker.
